Northland Sea Rescue Demo

Our friends at Northland Rescue Helicopters will be treating us to a demonstration boat winch retrieval this Sunday at 11.30am – on Whangārei Harbour between Hihiaua Park and Te Matau a Pohe bridge.  Captain Steve Couchman and Co-Pilot Glenn Silva will team up with Winch Operator Paul Davis and Rescue Swimmer Josh Raravula, who will be lowered on to Whangārei Coastguard’s boat where Josh will ‘rescue’ fellow Intensive Care Paramedic Leah Baker.  This is an experience not to be missed so don’t be late!
