Experience stunningly beautiful yachts, steamboats and launches that present the best of old-school wooden boat building. The oldest boat in the fleet will be 150 years old! In addition to the old timber treasures, there will also be some more modern yachts and launches built right here in Whangārei, displaying what our local craftsmen have created. To round out the variety of vessels.

Ashore, you can view a number of smaller boats including wooden yacht tenders and club sailboats.

Boat rides

We are pleased to have harbour cruise launch, Waipapa, giving three free tours on each day 10.30am, 12.30am and 2:30pm. The steam boat Puke will be also offering rides for gold coin donation. Weather permitting there will also be an opportunity to try dinghy sailing.
